A diagnosis of HIV can be frightening and overwhelming. Mālama Pono is here to help individuals and their families understand and cope with HIV.

The information, services, and financial assistance we provide can help people with HIV live longer, healthier lives, and make more informed choices about their treatment.
 

   

Case Management

Our case management team assesses each person’s situation and needs, then develops a plan to assist the client in obtaining essential medical, social, and supportive services such as:

• Medical Care • Home Health Services

• Hospice • Housing • Counseling

• Medicaid • Insurance • Food Stamps

• Social Security Income

• Social Security Disability Income

• Temporary Disability Income

Client Service Funds

Financial assistance is available to eligible clients to help obtain or maintain access to primary health care, prescription medications not covered by insurance, nutritional support, stable housing, and other supportive services.

Treatment Information

We provide current, relevant treatment information to clients and health care professionals throughout the year via newsletters, workshops, and conferences.
